it snowed a bunch.

this past weekend we had a winter wonderland.

it was so fun.
on friday the snow started pouring.  
and it just snowed and snowed all day.
it was the prettiest, snowfall.  big huge flakes.  
i love it when God loves us in such tangible ways.

we had a weekend full of plans that were all canceled.
and we loved every minute of it.
we played in the snow, we snuggled inside, i did a little painting, we drank hot chocolate, we made snow ice cream & we took drives.
i say, if it's gonna be cold, i want it to be snowy, otherwise it just seems desolate and i'm ready for spring.

mom, you'll be glad to know i dressed my baby appropriately this time around. :)

and between aj and i we managed to get those dang snow boots on sawyer's feet.

he could hardly walk in them, but hey, his feet were toasty warm.

sawyer big-puffy-heart loves to eat snow.  well anything frozen, actually.  but really, really snow.

we had to work hard to keep the boys from shoving in his face every 5 seconds.

we built a fort for the first time.  avery says it's an igloo.
so much fun.
the little neighbor girl came to play in it with them.

good times. great times.
