i could have sworn that i blogged about it. but i can't find it after searching several times, so whatevs.
i love having a summer list because it keeps helps us be intentional about creating memories.
it also gives us ideas of things to do that are not on a screen.
the phrase "no screens" is heard often around this house. ;)
we usually just do construction paper and tape it on a door.
this year we decided to use our honkin chalkboard.
avery made his list first.
i copied most of them & we added some more.
like you know we eat popsicles nearly every day.
and there's plenty of room to add more.
by the way i did not pick catch a frog or mall. just an FYI.
i should go add "read" because we plan on doing a LOT of that this summer.
oh and can you believe it's already the middle of JUNE??? Pin It
it does seem like this summer is whizzing by. especially since my oldest will start kindergarten in less then 2 months. egad!

ReplyDeleteI have been meaning to tell you, that your giant chalk board was a big inspiration for me. And I found a *huge* frame at a thrift store the other day that will become a large chalk board for our kitchen. :o) Thanks so much for sharing your ideas with us! :o)
