Due to the overwhelming number of children in foster care and lack of foster and/or adoptive homes, The CALL was formed as a volunteer ran, christian non-profit to help raise awareness of the orphan; and recruit, support & train foster and/or adoptive parents. The CALL works to bridge the gap between DHS and the local church.
There is no chapter in NWA yet, but there is a group working right now on getting one up and running! Anyway, you might check it out... and if your interested in more info (to volunteer or whatever...) you can email christy.fast@sbcglobal.net she's super wonderful, and is one of the ones working so hard to help the kiddos in your area! Right now, there are over 300 children in NWA's foster care system and only 90 foster homes. There are 600+ children throughout Arkansas that are in foster care and waiting to be adopted.
I love babies and Jesus, but basketball not so much. Can I just straight up BUY one of those shirts? Link me. Please :)
