our last summer craft project

so remember when i said i wanted make these?

well we did.
except we didn't do chocolate chips because i thought that might taste a little strange.
and ours didn't turn out nearly as cute.
but they were really fun to make and (somewhat) cute and yummy.

the boys were involved in the whole process.
very helpful.
counting popsicle sticks.....good math practice for a kindergarten boy.
so something happened when i poured the green jello in and almost all of the white layers floated to the top.
so, not as pretty as i'd hoped, but the boys certainly don't care and they taste just as good.
we used lime & strawberry jello.
we made them the day before school started so they were ready when they got home the first day.
sooo wish i had thought it through and used blue jello so the popsicles would be their school colors.
now that would have been really cool.
a very yummy treat.
and it made 17, so they last a long time!
