a few days after christmas we headed to kansas to celebrate with aj's fam.
we had a great time of lounging, playing games, talking & eating.
aj's sister tonya had her new baby, beckett there for all of us to cuddle.
he is 3 weeks old and so sweet and squishy you can hardly stand it.
we have a tradition when we celebrate christmas.
aj's dad reads the christmas story and aj's mom helps the grandsons act out the story with a little people nativity set.
i really like it because it helps the boys stay focused on the story and not just sit there wondering when grandpa will stop reading and let them open presents. ;)
we had one really nice day, 60's ish, so we walked to the park to get some fresh air and energy out.
avery brought along his new skate board.
he had been talking about going to the skate park since the day he got it.
the girl's and i even managed to take a trip to the thrift store.
i fed my fabric addiction and also found a big ol' frame for a new chalk board.
i have decided i am not allowed to buy any more fabric until i sew something!
we always have a great time when we go to kansas, but it's especialy fun when all the siblings & kids are there.
lively, but fun. :)
